Vấn đề Zansin

Chào mọi người. Không biết trong này có ai có kiến giải gì về Zansin không? Đây là vấn đề khó và theo tôi thì có thể miêu tả nó qua câu hát như thế này:

"Hãy yêu em như chưa yêu lần nào"

Không biết ý kiến mọi người thế nào?

- posture (before, when, after making the cut) this shows the confidence of the kendoka

- kiai (shouting) when making the cut

- fumikomi has to be at the same time with the cut

produce sort of a "pop" sound) and not sliding, together with zanshin
can determine a point in shiai.

No. What you mention is yuko-datosu (a point), not zanshin.

Zanshin, or "remaining spirit" in English, is talking about a state of mind. After you execute a strike, you have to remain the spirit of that strike and ready to strike again if the opponent dares to make a move again.

The spirit of the strike should start way before you actually strike and end way after it. Every strike can't be accidental. You have to show that you actually "intend" to strike.

Even though zanshin is a state of mind, one can identify zanshin through physical sign such as kiai, posture, and the action of following through with the strike.

Well, I think my explaination is kinda unclear.... but it is actually easier to show than to tell.

ohh.. thanks koki, that actually quite accurate to say that zanshin is
the like the "spirit" of the cut? I can quite understand wat u mean but
yeah... wat i posted there was just a small faction of the zanshin
meaning. lolz.. cut it short; for me, zanshin is like the way showing
the confidence in the cut.

What is Zanshin? I have thought carefully in my life.
Zanshin is to run away.
If the enemy attack, just evade and run away.
If you run, your opponent will be angry/ displeased.
That's all about attack.
But please notice: Run away is your body, not your mind.
Your mind should always keep attacking.


What is Zanshin ?

Zanshin is to be ruthless.

If you engage in a melee
Do not think about anything
except for how to defeat your eneymy with your very hands.
Just throw away human emitions.
If a demon block your way
Just cut him down
If your parents block your way
Don't hesitate to defeat them !!
This is the secret of Kenjutsu.


You should think about this carefully, evry daym every time in your life.!!
